2025 Miss Apple Blossom Scholarship Pageant Queen Winner:

Neila Rumfelt

Hi! My name is Neila Rumfelt, and I am honored to serve as this year’s Miss Nappanee Apple Blossom Queen! Being part of this celebration has been such an amazing experience, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent our community and traditions.

A little about me: I am 18 years old and will be a senior at Fairfield Jr./Sr. High School this fall! I enjoy competing in wrestling, training in Jiu-Jitsu, traveling, learning, volunteering in my community, and creating content for my mentorship program, Girls4Girls.

One of the most impactful experiences in my life has been spending the past six months as an exchange student in Costa Rica. During my time there, I became fluent in Spanish, experienced a completely new culture, and met so many incredible people. Living abroad helped me grow in confidence, independence, and appreciation for community and connection. It also gave me the opportunity to represent my hometown and share a little piece of Nappanee wherever I went.

One of my favorite things about the Apple Festival is the strength of our community. Nappanee may be a small town, but when we come together to celebrate, there is so much passion, creativity, and excitement. I especially love seeing the creativity throughout the festival in the parade, food, games, decorations, and events.

As queen, I hope to inspire others to become active members of their community and encourage leadership, productivity, and togetherness. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I am so excited to celebrate the 50th Apple Festival together and crown the next Miss Nappanee Apple Blossom Queen, who I know will make a wonderful impact on this community.
