Breanna Wormuth – Miss Bella’s Books & Curiosities
Breanna Michelle Wormuth is 19 years old and is currently enrolled at Liberty University’s Online Program for a Bachelor of Science in Creative Writing – Christian Literature. She is pursuing this degree with the passion to expand upon her skills so she can create the world she wants to build for her stories, while including themes that are tied to her beliefs. Breanna grew up very involved with community service through her local robotics center, American Heritage Girls Troop, and a pay it forward club. Her hobbies include reading, writing, drawing characters and learning about astronomy. Brianna is excited to spend her time volunteering at the Apple Festival.
Olivia Lentz – Miss Hertsel Berkshire Farm
Olivia Jayne Lentz is 17 years old and is a senior at NorthWood High School. While at NorthWood she is an Officer in FFA and is the manager of the boys’ volleyball team. Olivia attends Living Gospel Church and is a part of the youth group. Currently Olivia works at Coppes Coffee as a barista. She is an 8 year 4-H member where she is in the Dairy Feeder & Swine club. In the future Olivia wishes to attend cosmology school to become a cosmetologist and one day open her own salon. Oliva describes herself as happy, creative, and affectionate.
Trysta Helvey – Miss Elkhart Fraternal Order of Police
Trysta Leilani Helvey is 21 years old and is a senior at Indiana University of South Bend where she is studying a double major of marketing and advertising with a minor in finance. At IUSB, is co-captain of the IUSB cheerleading team. Trysta works at Refresh Hair Design Studio engaging in their social media marketing and performing receptionist work. Trysta has her own freelance business in social media marketing and works at J2 Marketing as a Content Coordinator doing Studio & Social Media work. In her free time Trysta enjoys volunteering or supporting the Concord Band program, as she is a 2022 Concord graduate, where she was a member of the band. In the future she wants to empower women to do the same and purse their business dreams.
Neila Rumfelt – Miss Economy Offset Printers
Neila Renee Rumfelt is 17 years old and is a junior at Fairfield High School where she maintains a 4.0 GPA while actively participating in wrestling, jujitsu, and Spanish studies. She is passionate about politics, diplomacy, and international relations, she has had the honor of serving as a page in the Indiana State Senate. This year, Neila will take her global interest even further by spending 6 months studying in Costa Rica through the Greenheart Exchange Program. She hopes to build meaningful cultural connections and inspire others through her journey. Neila would describe herself as driven, focused, and ambitious.
Kloe Mills – Miss TruBeauty Salon
Kloe Marie Mills is 18 years old and is a freshman at Ivy Tech Community College, where she is pursuing a degree in Diagnostic Sonography. She dreams of working as an ultrasound technician in an OB/GYN office and one day leading as a supervisor of the Ultrasound Department. Outside the classroom, Kloe works at the Boys & Girls Club through the KidsCare program, where she mentors and encourages children to dream big. She hopes to use her career to make a lasting impact by providing guidance, comfort, and confidence to everyone she meets. Kloe lives by the belief that every heartbeat tells a story, and her goal is to help every story be heard.
Moriah Kelly – Miss DJ Drake
Moriah Kelly is 19 years old and is a sophomore at Grace College where she is studying psychology. She aspires to be a therapist in the hospital setting, helping those in physical and mental pain and trauma. While at Grace College she is on the Ultimate Frisbee team and was awarded MVP. Moriah volunteers at LoveWay Horse Stables where she helps care for the horses and teaches children how to care for and ride horses. She attends Maple Grove Community Church where she is on the care team where she helps in the nursery and with janitorial duties. Moriah was proud to complete 10 years in 4-H at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair. In her free time, she enjoys working with children, taking care of animals, and making detailed jewelry.
Regan Templeton – Miss JoJo’s Pretzels
Regan Lynn Templeton is 19 years old and a sophomore at Ivy Tech Community College where she is studying radiology. Regan is the 3rd in her family to attend college. Her future goals include graduating with a bachelor's degree in radiology and maintaining a successful career. Regan is a busy full-time student and employee, however when she does have time for extracurriculars, she enjoys weightlifting, spending time on the family farm, and doing various crafts such as, crocheting, panting and coloring. For work Regan has two jobs, Jo Jo's pretzels and the Potawatomi zoo. At Jo Jo's pretzels Regan has been there for nearly a year, her bosses describe her as dedicated and hardworking. The Potawatomi Zoo is a newer job for Regan, she is currently still learning the ropes in every position due to her extensive experience and certifications.
Brianna Lechlitner – Miss Joe’s Gyros
Brianna Lechlitner is 18 years old and is a freshman at Purdue University studying psychology. She is involved in ROTC and is in the National Guard. Brianna is a NorthWood graduate, while in high school, she was on the varsity trap shooting team, was on the Unified Track & Field team and interned at the Nappanee Police Department. Brianna attends Wakarusa Missionary Church where she is involved with the youth group. She works currently at Neighbors Mercantile in Nappanee and Joe’s Gyros during the spring thru fall festival season. Brianna is a 10 year 4-H member, where she is in Shooting sports and shows dairy feeder calves and is in the poultry club. In the future she plans to be connected to the Federal Bureau of Investigations, working to solve cold cases and working in forensic sciences.
Gabbee Kantz – Miss Dutch Kernal
Gabbee Alaina Rene Kantz is 18 years old and is a freshman at Indiana University of South Bend where she is studying radiography and is working towards being coming an X-Ray technician. At ISUB she works on campus as a Library assistant. Gabbee is a graduate of Northridge High School where she participated in Color Guard & Winter Guard, earning herself the captain position of the teams her senior year. She is currently volunteering with the high school color guard and winter guard camps, helping teach color guard basics and new choreography. Gabbee was a 10-year 4-H member in the Elhart County Goat and Rabbit Clubs, gaining many achievements and holding multiple officer positions throughout her time in those clubs. In her free time, Gabbee enjoys reading, watching movies and TV shows with her family, and singing along with the radio in her car.
Brianna Stark – Miss Triple J Farm
Brianna Michelle Stark is 20 years old and is starting her 2nd year of college at Arizona State University online, where she is pursuing her Pre-Veterinary studies. Her passion for animals has been the driving force behind her career goals and community involvement. As a veterinary assistant at Gilmar Park Animal Clinic, she gains valuable hands – on experience caring for a variety of species, from dogs to cats and even a few small animal exotics. Each day on the job brings her one step closer to fulfilling her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Balancing her education and her career, she believes in the power of compassion and knowledge to make a lasting difference in the lives of animals and people who love them. Whether she’s studying, working, or volunteering, Brianna strives to be a positive role model and an advocate for responsible animal care.
Kayleena Igney – Miss Noffsinger Development
Kayleena Kelly Igney is 16 years old and a junior at Northridge High School. She is an 8 year 4-H member, where she is involved in the ATV Club, Junior Leaders, Rabbit and Poultry, and Camera Corps. Through her time in Camera Corps, Kayleena discovered her passion for photography, which has inspired her future goals. She plans to attend Grace College to earn her bachelor’s degree in photography and continue on to a master’s degree. With her strong love for creativity and Disney, Kayleena also hopes to participate in the Disney College Program in Florida, working as a PhotoPass photographer to capture magical memories for families from around the world. Kaylena is excited to participate in some of the fun events during the festival!
Maddie McKim – Miss Spark Permanent Jewelry Bar
Maddie Kate McKim is 16 years old and is a sophomore at Northridge High School. At Northridge, Maddie is a member of the Starlights Women’s Show Choir and will start their competition season early next year. Outside of school, Maddie participates in community orchestra, playing the violin and is a 7-year member of the Elkhart Country 4-H Rabbit club. Her greatest achievement comes from her time in 4-H, receiving grand champion or reserve grand champion every year in Rabbit Showmanship. Maddie describes herself as driven and is driven to travel around the world, creating new experiences. She is excited to create new experiences this weekend through volunteering at different events.
